Sony can pay online sabateurs to spread anti-360/ sony worship on social newsites such as N4G and Digg. And Nintendo can wow all of th geriatrics and 5 year olds with their Wii-mote. But when it comes to traditional gamers, the 360 is the brass ring.
Put aside the 360's superior online service and better price. We are gamers and the games are what's important to us. Don Mattrick of MS pointed out a very sharp fact recently. That simple fact being that the 360 has more AAA titles than the PS3 and Wii combined. http://n4g.com/industrynews/NewsCom-175872.aspx?CT=1
But why not count the full spectrum of quality games. Meaning why not count the A's and AA's as well, I mean these games are A quality as well.
While the 360 and PS3 have managed to make at least half of their library quality, the Wii sits at an embarassing 1/3.
The 360 has more games that have a score of 7.0 or higher, than there are total games in the PS3's entire game library. (the 360 only missed the Wii by 13 titles.
The 360 has more quality titles than the Wii and PS3 combined.
Many multi-platform titles for 360 & PS3 scored higher on the 360.
The 360's game library is the same size as the Wii&PS3's libraries combined.
So there you go 360 fans, the cold hard truth using numbers. I understand the frustration some of you feel from fanboys on various gaming sites and forums (it gets blatantly ridiculious at times). Rest easy though and don't stoop to silliness, if you are a gamer then the 360 was the right decision.
