The guy at Gamespot gave Operation Darkness at 6.0. I've played both demos for Too Human & OD & they were both fun but I'd have to say that TH was much more smooth in play than OD, at least you could pan the camera around more easily & see what was going on!
vanOrd reviewed both of these games! So how in the fu.ckng world is this possible that OD would outscore TH? He reviewed Kungfu Panda as well & he gave that a 6.5??? What the fu.ck? No movie game should EVER be better than a game of original content. If you can't figure that out, then you shouldn't be in the game review business. In fact, reviews of movie-based games shouldn't be reviewed at all.
Someone on the massive TH thread that I've been pouring through for the past several hours stated that Xplay on the g4 website gave TH a 4.5. So I went to check it out. Then the usual as.sholes started bashing Xplay as something that was not good at rating games. Well fu.ck you guys!
I did a little comparison check from xplay against vanOrd's little kingdom of games & here is what I found:
vanOrd/GS Xplay Too Human 5.5 4/5 Haze 6.0* 2/5 Lair 4.5* 2/5 Kung-Fu Panda 6.5 N/A Iron Man 5.5* N/A
*indicates may or may not have been reviewed by vanOrd..I didn't check.
So you can see that Xplay's credibility is steadfastly rising. For openers, Xplay DID NOT fu.cking rate the crapas.s movie-based video games! And why the hell should they? But anyone can see that Haze is far worse than Too Human. Likewise, vanOrd prefers playing a cartoon panda to a futuristic slayer...that much is obvious. So it looks like Xplay is a bit better than GS these days. It's sad that it has come to this. But so far, the GS reviews are just getting it wrong with every step of the way...Last time it was MGS4 with a perfect 10.
Is it me, or does GS seem to be completely biased towards the PS3 cow world lately??
